Koppe
The Koppe family business stretches back to the early years of the 20th century.
The nursery was founded by Marinus Koppe in 1910. His grandson, Bert Koppe, runs the business today. Over a period of more than 100 years, the company has grown from a small family business to the leading breeder and supplier of Begonia elatior young plants.
Important varieties bred by our breeding department are: Baladin®, Barkos®, Berseba®, Berseba Red®, Binos Soft Pink®, Borias® and Borias Dark®. All the varieties in the Barkos® collection stand out in terms of shelf life, presentation and colour.
Especially for the balcony and patio we offer the Betulia® series. This series is highly heat and rain tolerant. It will flower throughout the summer, bringing no end of colour to your garden.
